Infrastructure- Encouraging a Learning Environment
Classrooms
Classrooms are where students spend the maximum number of school hours and we ensure that the environment of these spaces is positive and inculcate mutual respect and camaraderie. All classrooms are spacious with extensive display boards, have glass windows that open out to verdant spaces, allowing lot of natural light to come inside the classrooms. Learning is not restricted to the precincts of the classrooms. Ample open spaces transport children on a creative jaunt where they work effectively in teams.
Our teaching methodology expands beyond the boundaries of traditional chalk and talk. Teaching to include technology and modern techniques wherever possible. To help students understand and visually relate to complex concepts, our class rooms are technologically Supported, equipped with smart boards. to make lessons interactive, engaging and thrilling for our students .With the help of such technology we make sure our students have a firm grasp on the subject matter and are able to think in three-dimensional space.
Teacher Student Ratio
Despite large and spacious classrooms, we have limited the number of students such that the average teacher to student ratio across all grades is about 1:35. Our nursery section is purposefully built, with bright colours and play-areas. We have 2 teachers with 2 helpers for each class in kindergarten to look after the needs and learning requirements of these tiny tots.
Library- opening their minds through books
A school’s library is the center for learning and plays a crucial role in boosting innovation, problem solving and curiosity. It acts as a facilitator for reading and knowledge that enhances the learning capability of students and teachers alike. The school library is the central point for engaging in cultural activities, reading, accessing information and deep analytical thinking. Our library has a librarian to help students and teachers identify the books and sources of information on a particular subject, also answer queries that are related to the materials stored here and are particular about the rules and regulations that govern this exhilarating space.
This library I s used by students from Class IV onwards. The pre-primary to Class III students have their own class libraries.
Resources at Our Library
Our school’s library is well-equipped and is computerized. It houses a large and rich collection of resources that include books, videos, CDs, DVDs, newspapers and periodicals. These range from general reference material to specialized information. The reference section includes encyclopedias, linguistic and biographical dictionaries, atlases, handbooks. These resources must be referred to in the library and cannot be borrowed.
The news update corner has magazines and newspapers that encourage students and teachers to keep abreast with happenings around the world. The staff members are allowed to borrow the periodicals for a week at a time while students are expected to use these in the library premises.
Our aim is to encourage our students to inculcate the habit of reading and gaining confidence.
Books campaign
Books campaign is an initiative to have students read more and to create a culture of reading. The campaign strives to foster the love for reading among students, teachers and staff. They have the freedom to select books based on their personal interest. However, the campaign has specific guidelines to ensure every student, teacher and staff reads and the culture of reading is sustained
World Class Campus
Classrooms, Libraries, Computer laboratories, AV rooms, Science labs, Arts and Fine Arts studios, English language development centre, manipulative learning centre, and contemplative learning centre are all part of the academic block at one of the best State Board Schools in Kadiri.
Computer Lab
Our Schools have to keep abreast with Technological advancement that has grown at an exponential rate these new trends. Integrating technology into the teaching learning is imperative and included into the weekly timetable. Our school has well equipped computer labs. Each school is equipped with the ICT Lab for computer practicals. The school has a very robust ICT curriculum covering topics ranging from coding, design, web applications, mobile apps and 3D Printing. We update the technology regularly while also ensuring that the number of computers is enhanced periodically. The students get their fair share of computer time since we make certain that only two students get to work at a terminal.
Students from grade I onwards get their share of the computer time. From Class VI onwards, computer education is more formalized. The computer lab is open to students for projects, research, presentations and assignments. They are allowed to book their time slots for independent work and group study. On most days the lab is a hub of inter-disciplinary activity; its easy accessibility has made study and work interesting and challenging with the students. The computer lab has a dedicated internet connection and inappropriate sites have been blocked so that unnecessary surfing does not take place.
Science Lab
Children learn better by doing Hands-on activities. Science projects are interwoven with theoretical learning and practiced in our science labs by primary and middle school students. , we have a well-equipped integrated laboratory to foster and expedite learning in the most effective way The laboratory promotes the spirit of investigation and testing and serves the learning interests of primary to senior secondary students. It is set up in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the Board.
There are meticulously designed and neatly labelled charts and manuals to facilitate experiments and assist students to execute all these with ease and safety. Safety procedures are clearly stated and everyone must follow the rules and regulations mentioned therein. The furniture and storage has been designed with special fire resistant materials and fire extinguishers are placed at accessible distances.
The laboratory is spacious and airy and allows students to integrate classroom exercises with the lab assignments. The ample space permits equipment to remain set up, saving time and effort of the students.

Art & craft Room
In keeping with the ethos of CBSE Board, our education is holistic. We offer a rich and diverse array of non-academic pursuits aimed at enabling our pupils to uncover new talents and interests and develop those that exist already. We foster our pupils’ originality and ingenuity that takes full advantage and allows them to express their creative urges.
Our art & craft room is well-equipped with all required items for crafts.
Art & craft isn’t just a part of the timetabled curriculum, it is offered to both the junior and senior school students as a co-curricular activity, with an art club
Sports Room
Physical fitness is considered equally important to mental fitness. Playing and physical exercise are vital to all. At JGI Schools, we stress on physical education and encourage children to pick up multiple sports. These activities provide a platform for a child to acquire leadership skills and help to shape their character. Children are exposed to different games at the junior and senior levels, a standard 200 m track for athletics, a separate court for throw ball, an outdoor badminton court and an indoor table tennis, chess and carom facility ensure that children get to play and enjoy the sport of their choice. Coaching is done by experts in the field. Inter class competitions are held regularly. A splash pool is available for toddlers
Music Room – Fine Tuning for Aesthetic Appreciation
Music is given prime importance as part of the school curriculum. Our school boasts of a highly accomplished music Teacher and a well-equipped music room on the school campus. Every child is encouraged and nurtured to learn at least one musical instrument starting from Class III.

All basic musical instruments are made available to the students. Instruments like the harmonium, tabla, congo, drums, keyboard and others are accessible for the students. Splash Pool
Our pool is open to students and faculty throughout the day. Through our school swimming programme, we reward and encourage their swimming progress and efforts. Students are gifted with certificates for accomplishments and have a chance to show off their swimming skills in inter-house swimming contests.
Swimming Pool – More Than Mere Exercise
Swimming serves as great low-strain exercise. It is good for the heart, lungs and muscles without adding strain to the joints. Adding a swimming pool to our school’s infrastructure allows us to give the students access to all the benefits of swimming.
Swimming is sometimes referred to as the perfect exercise. It not only improves muscle definition and builds core strength, it also builds bone mass and enhances lung performance. Math Lab
The mathematics laboratory at JES—- is a place where Students can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning material.The materials are meant to be used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of mathematics, to discover, to learn and to develop an interest in mathematics.The activities create interest among students who wants to explore, and test some of their ideas, beliefs about mathematics.
